This is an easy-to-follow step-by-step illustrated tutorial with PDF patterns to make a quilted 30″ by 7″ Double Oven-Mitt with Thumb Insert in contrasting but matching fabric that you can get from fat quarters and less than 1 yard of fabric and batting.
To make this mitt, we recommend Insul Brite batting and Warm & Natural Cotton Batting together.
This pattern is unique in that the thumb insert is not bulky and does not stick out like a sore thumb. We believe we designed it to be functional as well as beautiful.
